Overview

gtavicecity.lol (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our site to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

What This Site Is

This site hosts an open-source, MIT-licensed WebAssembly game engine derived from the re3/reVC reverse-engineering project. The engine code itself does not contain copyrighted game assets (models, textures, audio, scripts). Game data files are either provided by users from their own legally-owned copies or served from our infrastructure.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that material on this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our designated DMCA agent. Your notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., URL).
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Our Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
  • Notify the content provider (if applicable) that the material has been removed.
  • In appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction.

Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating access for users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Good Faith

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
